Amy & Jay are from Tennessee, and have been married 15 years. Together, with their 4 kids, they came to Estes Park for their dream wedding on October 17, 2021. Once engaged, Jay was almost immediately deployed to Afghanistan, so they never enjoyed a real big wedding with a celebration. Fast forward to today, and 4 kids later, they got their celebration.
Forty-five guests traveled from Tennessee to spend 4 days in Estes Park and celebrate these two. Their wedding day was filled with love, humor and beauty. It was everything Amy said she dreamed of.
The ceremony was on Long’s Peak Lawn, with a glorious half-moon arch from Indigo Flower Market as the backdrop.
Guests were treated to a live string quartet from Red Rocks String Quartet on the Presidential Patio following the ceremony.
Once inside the Stanley Hotel, guests enjoyed a cigar bar, a Polaroid selfie station, and complimentary mini bottles of champagne (with tags that read, “drunk in love”). The kids’ table was full of whimsical pumpkins and a candy bar….and covered with Halloween cupcake sprinkles.
The 3-tier cake from Kelly Leigh Cakes was classical, whimsical and absolutely delicious.
Suit and Tie got the dance party going….including party buttons, blow up instruments and foam glow sticks.
Mark Hall strolled among guests for the majority of the evening offering whimsical caricature drawings.
No party of this magnitude would be complete without a grand confetti send off. It was a magical evening, perfectly planned with some dark moodiness of fall at The Stanley…mixed in with some beautiful wedding touches (hello white pumpkins!), and a “first look” complete with a renewed proposal (and a *new* ring). Congratulations Amy & Jay on this amazing vow renewal extravaganza.
