Story + Photos by Jennie Crate

Maureen and Mallory wanted to plan an intimate mountain wedding in Colorado. Though they knew COVID was going to affect their plans, they did not want to wait to get married, so they moved full steam ahead.

After looking at several mountain plans and having a couple of options fall through, they discovered Boras Pass in Breckenridge and knew it was the place they wanted to say, “I Do”. Their design aesthetic was classy and elegant with nods to light pinks and fall colors. Their attire was on point, and Mallory rocked a full white suit and an awesome pink hat. It complemented Maureen’s beaded wedding dress, which she had altered to make more modern.

Their ceremony on Boreas Pass featured beautiful views of the valley below and was surrounded by the bare aspen trees of fall.

After their ceremony and portraits, they headed back to the house for a fully catered dinner, drinks, and homemade pies. They finished off their evening celebration with a sparkler exit on the porch.

All in all, a beautiful day!
