Considering A DJ
The reception is your time to cut loose and celebrate! Make sure the disc jockey service you hire provides:
HIGH QUALITY. Do they use state-of-the-art audio and lighting equipment? Does the equipment provide crystal clear sound at a comfortable volume level? Do they use compact discs or cassette tapes?
A WIDE SELECTION. Do they have an extensive library of music from the ’50s all the way up through current hits? Does their library suit the format you want (country, rock, pop, jazz, New Age, Big Band, rap, today’s hottest dance hits, etc.)?
GOOD SERVICE. Will they show up on time, dress appropriately, and serve as Master of Ceremonies if necessary? Will they make sure the traditional reception activities take place at the right times? Do they play requests? Do they have a back-up system readily available if needed?
A COMPETITIVE PRICE. In today’s world, your entertainment dollar has to go a long way. Ask for referrals from former wedding customers, and finalize your agreement in a written contract.
